Seasons greeting and 2012 trips...
Another year is nearing its end and its time again to thank all our clients and friends for all the support throughout this past year. It has been a year filled with visits to exciting new destinations and repeat adventures to some of the old and reliable ones.
Yet again we were fortunate to catch more and bigger fish than in the previous years and despite 'global warming' experience, mostly outstanding water and weather conditions. We will continue to offer many similar, world class excursions in 2012 and hope to have many of you back again to enjoy and add to your life's experiences.
From our little team we wish you a Merry Christmas and an adventure filled and prosperous 2012.
Short end of the year news letter
Rhodes and surrounding areas
Rhodes and the surrounding areas have had some fantastic rainfalls during the last two weeks and the rivers are running strong and good catches of both yellow fish and wild trout have been recorded.
Mozambique
During the first part of November 2011 Fred joined a group of anglers on a week fishing adventure that stretched from Bazaruto island to St Sabastian. The weather started off grim but later changed for the better and we hooked and landed great fish on both fly and conventional tackle. We used a 45' Afri-Cat for our lodging and to work the close reefs and drop-offs. Some of the fish caught below.
Madagascar
The last part of November 2012 we spent in Madgascar with a group of guys. We chartered a 45' Cat (Sailboat) as our mother ship and fished off a 28' Super-Cat. The sea was flat and the weather hot and humid but the guys caught loads of fish. Dogtooth Tuna, GT's, King Mackeral, Yellowspot and Bluefin Kingfish, Sailfish, Grouper, Bludgers, Jobfish ... to name a few that were targeted and were plentiful.
